Can You Build an Ezine With Youtube?

Of all of the different types of marketing that is available on the Internet, video marketing is one of the newcomers on the scene. Although it is important that you never ignore some of the good old standbys, such as article marketing and search engine optimization, you should make sure that you are not ignoring the newcomers as well. If you want to have the widest diversity of traffic coming to your website, you need to start posting videos on youtube.com and getting them from there. As a matter of fact, you can use this video website in order to build one of the most targeted and profitable lists that you will ever have.
The first thing that you need to do is to learn how to make a compelling video. It is not necessary for you to understand the ins and outs of video making as if you were making a Hollywood movie. It is important, however, for you to understand the basics of niche marketing so that you stick with the subject and don’t go after the big numbers. Yes, you can pull a thousand visitors to your video overnight if you use pretty girls or cute animals but unless they have something to do with the offer on your webpage, the traffic will be worthless.
Uploading your video to youtube is a relatively simple thing but before you do so, you want to make sure that everything is in place. At the beginning and end of each of your videos, you should make sure that you leave the URL of your website. If necessary, by a short version of the website and redirect it to your actual domain. The last thing that you want is to have some big complicated website address that people will need to type in in order to drop by your website. Make it as easy as possible for the people watching the video to type your website into their browser and you will receive the most amount of traffic.
Another mistake that is often made whenever it comes to getting people to your website from youtube is not allowing them to see the URL for long enough. If you’re only going to flash your website for a couple of seconds, you might as will not make the video at all. Given a full five seconds at the beginning of the video and then leave it up for half a minute or longer at the end. This will give people the time to type in your URL while it is still playing in the video.
Finally, you want to make sure that you push them into an area of your website with a squeeze page. Don’t put them on a page with a lot of content where they will have a hundred different choices of where to go. Put them on a squeeze page where they can either sign up for your newsletter or back out. If you really don’t want to lose them from your website, use an exit pop-up but other than that, limit their exits to a minimum.

Turn Domains Into Dollars 10 Hot Tips

Check out these recent ‘colossal’ domain name sale prices! Massive Profits are well and truly back in the news. (Truth be told, they’ve never really been out of it). With ‘big’ money at stake, it’s no wonder the Domain Name Barron’s prefer to keep an extremely low profile. Here’s 10 Hot Tips to turn ‘your’ domains into dollars.
Tip 1. (More a ‘revelation’ than a tip). Did you know that there are now businesses specially set up to ‘finance’ those looking to buy domain names? Were you aware that there are multi-million dollar companies, whose sole activity is buying, selling, parking or leasing domain names? Why is this relevant? Well, these ‘major players’ are not in it for fun. They know (for sure) there’s ‘big bucks’ to be made from domain names.
Tip 2. When it comes to turning domains into dollars, names ending in .com are still ‘king’. The two word domain name http://DataRecovery.com went for a whopping $1,659,000.00 in the first 2008, whereas the one word http://Fund.com when for a simply staggering $9,999,950.00 in the same month / year. OK, your chances of getting hold of a good ‘one word’ domain are slim, but bear in mind that, as the price of such exclusive domains increase in value, a knock-on effect occurs. Down the road, sales of this magnitude can influence prices paid for good ‘two-word’ (and even ‘three-word’) domain names.
The best domain names are those consisting of generic terms / expressions (and ‘keywords’). ‘Anti Virus’ is an example of a generic expression, as is ‘Poker Tournament’.
Tip 3. Understand, it’s not just dot com domain names that sell. There’s money to be made from other Top Level Domains (TLD’s) too. i.e. .net, .org, .info and .biz.
FilmSchool.net and http://WallStreet.info sold in 2008 for $49,501.00 and $25,500 respectively. If you had discovered either of those examples as an ‘unregistered name’, you would probably have been asked to pay no more than $10 to secure your prize!
Perhaps more appropriately, numerous sales in the $0000 and $000 price range occur every month.
If the .com version of a domain name is already registered, you must take care to avoid identical domain names (with different name extensions) where ‘brand name’ or ‘trademark’ infringement might be an issue.
However, if the dot com name is a pure generic name (e.g. Christmas Tree) then it may be safe to snap up one of the other TLDs or a Geo / Regional version of the same domain name as (to the best of my knowledge) it’s still the case that obvious ‘generic’ terms cannot successfully be protected by trademark registration. (But don’t rely on this, always investigate and take professional advice).
Tip 4. When it comes to domain names with ‘country’ or ‘region’ specific extensions, exciting 6 figure sales are occurring. Don’t believe me? Well note that http://FreeCreditReport.co.uk sold in 2008 for a very healthy $300,000. (Wish I’d turned that domain into dollars).
Tip 5. Domain Names don’t have to be short and memorable to warrant a fantastic 6 digit purchase price. Demand is steadily increasing for sensible names, comprised of one or more words that clearly describe a marketable product or service. Why? Every year the number of businesses goings online increases dramatically. (Work it out for yourself).
Tip 6. Don’t for one moment think that ‘flipping’ (i.e. buying in the hope of immediately reselling) is the only way to turn your domains into dollars. If you acquire several domain names, you should investigate developing some into websites that you can then sell, along with the domain name. Doing this can add a lot of value to the domain. It also gives you more opportunities to make a sale, as you can look to attract not only those looking for a good domain name, but also folk simply seeking a website with a decent name.
Even if you know nothing about website development, you can get a freelance to build one for you quite cheaply. Web Developers frequently advertise their services through http://elance.com, http://guru.com (or a whole range of other Outsourcing Websites).
Many domain names are suitable for ‘Free Parking’ via services willing to share revenue generated by visitor traffic. Simply type ‘Domain Parking’ into your favourite search engine, then compare offers. Such services effectively host your domain name for free, and can make your domain look more appealing to a prospective buyer.
If a Free Parking Service makes you just $5 each year over and above the annual cost to register your domain name, you’re ahead of the game. OK, $5 a year is not much (unless, that is, you’ve got 100, 1000, or 10,000 domains that are all earning you a $5 profit annually). Do the math! Decent domain names will increase in value overtime so, by parking names to cover their renewal costs, you can afford to sit back and wait for a decent offer. (Win, Win!)
Tip 7. While there are no ‘absolute’ rules, consider carefully before you buy an ‘already registered’ domain name that contains a hyphen, a numeral, or both. In some instances, you can come out on top, but in most cases you’ll be wasting your money. Also, beware of those offering domains that appear to be really great one or two word names until - that is - you realize that the person who registered the name (not necessarily the seller) has used the number ‘0′ (zero) rather than the letter ‘o’ as part of a word. There are other text variations that can create a misleading impression. (So be careful!).
Tip 8. We’ve touched on this point earlier, but it’s very important you avoid names that have been trademarked or - through passage of time - come to be recognised as ‘known brands’. Just because a dot com name is available, don’t jump to the conclusion that the fantastic name you’ve identified is a safe bet.
OK, you may well decide that - for the risk of just a few dollars - you’ll register it while you can, and investigate later. (That’s probably what I’d do!). But subsequently, always remember to do your ‘due diligence’ before using such a name, or offering it to someone else.
Bear in mind that some business may (for whatever reasons) chose to go with the .net, .org or some other extension. In many cases where this applies, those businesses will have taken the sensible precaution of purchasing the .com version too. But not always!
So, irrespective of the extension of any domain name you might be thinking of buying (e.g. .com, .net, .org, .us etc) check to see if anyone has registered / is using the same domain with an alternative extension.
Also bear in mind that there are still some businesses without an internet presence, who may be using that fantastic name you came up with ‘off-line’. Where this applies, they may well have Trademark or similar rights over it.
You can also get your fingers badly burn if you register a deliberate misspelling or ’sound-a-like’ of a famous brand name. My advice? Don’t bother (or check with your lawyer first!)
Tip 9. When it comes to using ‘brand creation’ as means of converting domains into dollars, some businesses deliberately choose (or dream up) domain names with a vague / nebulous quality. This means that, later, they have the option to change what their business does, or move into additional fields, without having to alter their name.
For example, although we all associate Amazon or eBay with what we currently known them for, there’s a chance that - in fifty years time - they could have morphed into new enterprises (which may have nothing to do with the activities we associate them with right now).
You might sometimes be offered, or dream up, domain name ideas that don’t describe or indicate a specific business or interest area. Such names can be valuable if you can locate someone with cash, who agrees with you. However, more often than not, they will prove very hard to sell, compared to those that give a clear indication of what an internet user might reasonably expect if he / she decides to visit a website with that name.
Tip 10. In this article it’s only been possible to uncover the tip of the iceberg as far as domain name ‘buying & selling tactics’ are concerned. Tip 10 is to realize that, in order to buy and sell domains like a ‘pro’, you need to get serious about increasing your knowledge, and start planning your strategy. Invest some time and energy in learning all you can from ‘experts’ to give yourself that essential ‘edge’. Then formulate a campaign to turn those domains into dollars.

Never forget, just one good idea gleaned from an ‘expert source’ can make you a great deal of money if wisely applied. I take the view that - with a bit of luck - the profits I stand to make by arming myself with ‘inside knowledge’ should more than compensate for any up-front investment of time or money I might choose to make in my future.
Even if you decide that the ‘Knowledge Base’ mentioned above is not for you, you’ll probably pick up some great insights, just by reading what’s revealed in the ‘introduction’.
In my ‘Resources Panel’ - which accompanies this article - you’ll find a link to my website (dedicated to the subject of domain names). Once on my site, you’ll find links to a vast number of useful domain name resources that you really ought to be aware of.
Thanks for taking the time to read this article. Now it’s time for you to turn those domains into dollars.

Do You Really Need to Optimise Your Website For Search Engines?

There is no doubt that search engines can help your business reach its goals quickly and effectively – but should you be optimising your website specifically for search engines?
No – well not really…
The days of simply putting a few META tags into your web page and expecting to be number 1 are gone – content is king and has been for some time. Today Google and other major engines look deep into your websites content and gather information from all over the internet about your website, including finding other websites that link back to your website.
Real people use your website
Search engines are simply a channel of attracting REAL people to your website based on a search term which they enter. To rank well for your target search term or keyword you need to have topical, well written content which is targeted at those keywords. Content should be easily accessible, using a well structured menu and navigation system – you can the aid the website visitor by providing a site map.
Content, content, content
Google loves content that is relevant to your website – content that gives your visitors original information, insight, opinions and revelations. You should look to continuously create inspiring content for your visitor which makes them act on your goals, whether that be buy a product online or simply subscribe to your newsletter.
Trying building content on what your great at doing, for example of you’re a builder then you should try and create article on “Handy ways to install door frames” for example, this not only build content for search engines to read but also shows to the website visitor that you are an expert on the field and know what you talking about which will drive them to contact you about your service.
Keeping it simple really is the best policy
Optimising your content for search engines should come naturally from writing content – don’t worry about keyword density, just write to your audience and don’t over repeat your targeted keyword or keyphrase too much. Always remember your writing for real people not search engines. The basics for optimising your content are;
1. Include your keyword in the title “Category > Title Site name” is an acceptable format.
2. Use H1 – H5 tags for all your important headings
3. Use text instead of images to display key content
4. Use links wisely and ensure there are no more than 100 links on anyone page
Find other people that love your content too
Once you have written some indulging content then shout about it, find blogs, review sites, forums and social media websites that you can use to tell everyone about your content – be careful though, don’t just ball in guns blazing, ensure you are a trusted and long term member of the website who contributes regularly. This will ensure that other website will naturally link to your content without even asking as you become an expert on your area of interest.
In summary
Although there are certainly methods, techniques and other guidelines you should follow to optimise your website for real people to find your website through search engines, you shouldn’t optimise specifically for search engines – it’s simply not a sustainable long term strategy. So go out there and build on the content for your chosen topic and give everyone something original to read.

Sell Your Photos With Online Photo Printing

Are you an avid photographer? Maybe you’re even a professional photographer. At any rate, if you take a lot of pictures, chances are some of them are pretty good. Have you ever considered selling your photos online? You don’t need an elaborate e-store. All you need is a place to park the photos online, a way to take orders, and a way to print and ship the finished photos. With an online gallery website, the whole process becomes easy.
The first things you need, obviously, are some photos. You already have those, don’t you? Once you’ve got the photos the next thing you need is a place to park them online, where people can see them and admire them. Online gallery sites are excellent for this, and many offer printing service. The better ones offer top quality printing services as well. Additionally, the online parking place, besides being a way to present your photos to the public, offers you a place you can safely keep your photos. Chances are your photos will be safe on your hard drive, but it makes sense for important, irreplaceable documents to have at least one off-site backup. That way if there’s a flood or a fire or your dog eats your hard drive or your hard drive just craps out, as they do sometimes, you still have your photos.
The next thing you need is a way to get customers. One way to get people’s attention, aside from any contacts you might have in the ‘real’ world, is a blog. If you write a photography blog, be sure to learn enough about search engine optimization so that you can attract people to your website. You will want to show up high on every search engine list. Don’t worry; all this requires is a little research, which can be done using that very same search engine. Yet another thing you need—and this will become your favorite part if it isn’t already—is a way to get paid. These days, PayPal works great. Sure, they take a commission, but you can get paid quickly and conveniently from anywhere to anywhere.
The last thing you need is a way to print and ship your photos. Online galleries are an excellent solution for this. The quality of their online photo printing is outstanding, on a par with professional labs. The better ones use high-quality, Kodak photo paper, just like the kind of paper used for printing enlargements from film negatives optically. Their excellent photo printers will give you vibrant, clear, accurate color. Most services offer a variety of sizes to suit your printing needs as well. Once your prints are online, most online gallery services will print photos in a variety of sizes, so you can allow people to order the size they prefer. You can also order prints, in either glossy or matte finish if your customer is in a hurry, many online galleries offer express shipping. Best of all, all of this can be accomplished using a simple online form.
MJ Johnston writes for a variety of websites, including Hoorray, a photo sharing site that offers the quickest and easiest way to build a free online photo album, as well as free online photo storage.

Learning How To Market Online

If you are setting up an online home business will need to learn internet marketing. Learning how to market online can at first appear to be an overwhelming and difficult task if you are new to the business, but it doesn't have to be.

There are many people who sign up for affiliate marketing programs because they see a way of earning some money quickly and easily. Unfortunately, unless they know how to market an online business, or have very good training, the system will not work for them. This is usually because of a misconception about how much time it takes to make a profit, and because they do not understand the basics of internet marketing.

However, learning the basics is not quite as difficult as it may first appear, and there are many places where you can seek help with internet marketing.
First of all, it 's important that you check the company you have joined to see if they have an adequate training program. Make sure this program includes techniques such as blogging, article writing, search engine optimization, list building, backlinking and directories, or at least some links to where you can learn these.

If the training offered by your company is not adequate, you then need to search for some good e-books or join some of the excellent online marketing forums. These are not difficult to find using the search engines. Some programs have their own forums.

You may find that your affiliate marketing company has a free e-book that you can not only read and learn from, but also re-brand and give away, encouraging those who read it to sign-up under you. Empowerism and Plug-In-Profit are just two of the programs that do this, but there are many more.

Internet marketing forums are an excellent way of finding advice, and all serious internet marketers should be using them. As well as getting help, they are also a way of marketing your website using the signature tool. It is important, however, that when you post in forums you are genuinely seeking help, or giving useful advice, otherwise you could find yourself banned for posting spam.

Many people in these forums have had extensive experience of internet marketing and are only too willing to help out people who are new to the business. Some people may be prepared to offer you a free training e-book or give you links to training sites.

If you are new to internet marketing and are feeling overwhelmed by the amount there is to learn, remember to focus on one thing at a time. It is best to start with one marketing technique and work on it until you feel confident before moving on to the next one. Once you have learned a few, you can choose which ones work best for you and include these in your daily timetable.

Above all, you need to be patient and be prepared to learn all you can from the experts. Remember that you are not alone. The most successful people in the industry once knew nothing about how to market online. Take their advice and learn from their mistakes so you know what to avoid. Before long you will find yourself with a fast growing business and it will be you who are advising others.

So Many Affiliate Programs! Choosing The Right One

Ask questions first before you join an affiliate program. Do a little research about the choices of program that you intend to join into. Get some answers because they will be the deciding point of what you will be achieving later on.

Will it cost you anything to join? Most affiliate programs being offered today are absolutely free of charge. So why settle for those that charge you some dollars before joining.

When do they issue the commission checks? Every program is different. Some issue their checks once a month, every quarter, etc. Select the one that is suited to your payment time choice. Many affiliate programs are setting a minimum earned commission amount that an affiliate must meet or exceed in order for their checks to be issued.

What is the hit per sale ratio? This is the average number of hits to a banner or text link it takes to generate a sale based on all affiliate statistics. This factor is extremely important because this will tell you how much traffic you must generate before you can earn a commission from the sale.

How are referrals from an affiliate 's site tracked and for how long do they remain in the system? You need to be confident on the program enough to track those people you refer from your site. This is the only way that you can credit for a sale. The period of time that those people stay in the system is also important. This is because some visitors do not buy initially but may want to return later to make the purchase. Know if you will still get credit for the sale if it is done some months from a certain day.

What are the kinds of affiliate stats available? Your choice of affiliate program should be capable of offering detailed stats. They should be available online anytime you decide to check them out. Constantly checking your individual stats is important to know how many impressions, hits and sales are already generated from your site. Impressions are the number of times the banner or text link was viewed by a visitor of your site. A hit is the one clicking on the banner or text links.

Does the affiliate program also pay for the hits and impressions besides the commissions on sales? It is important that impressions and hits are also paid, as this will add to the earnings you get from the sales commission. This is especially important if the program you are in offers low sales to be able to hit ratio.

Who is the online retailer? Find out whom you are doing business with to know if it is really a solid company. Know the products they are selling and the average amount they are achieving. The more you know about the retailer offering you the affiliate program, the easier it will be for you to know if that program is really for you and your site.

Is the affiliate a one tier or two tier program? A single tier program pays you only for the business you yourself have generated. A two tier program pays you for the business, plus it also pays you a commission on the on the sales generated by any affiliate you sponsor in your program. Some two-tier programs are even paying small fees on each new affiliate you sponsor. More like a recruitment fee.

Lastly, what is the amount of commission paid? 5% - 20% is the commission paid by most programs. .01% - .05% is the amount paid for each hit. If you find a program that also pays for impressions, the amount paid is not much at all. As you can see from the figures, you will now understand why the average sales amount and hit to sale ratio is important.

These are just some of the questions that needed answering first before you enter into an affiliate program. You should be familiar with the many important aspects that your chosen program should have before incorporating them into your website. Try to ask your affiliate program choices these questions. These can help you select the right program for you site from among the many available.

Would You Like Ideas On How To Make Money Online?

Nowadays, everyone wants to know how you can make money online, and thankfully for those people they don't have to look very far before they find a few zillion ways. However, even if there are a zillion ways, do you really think they are all legit? They all work? They all are easy? I think not! In a lot of cases there are some major scams online, people simply looking at you with dollar signs in their eyes. They just see you as another person they can take advantage. On the other hand, there are a lot of businesses that are completely legit. They see you as a person, they want to get to know you, and they want to truly help you succeed and make the same money they are. These are the great people of the Internet. The teachers. I have been lucky quite a few times to meet people like this, Guru of sorts, willing to share their secrets to prosperity and they want nothing in return except to know you made it! So what are some of these ways? Well, listed below I have named a few.

Affiliate Marketing - Affiliate marketing is a method of promoting web businesses (merchants/advertisers) in which an affiliate (publisher) is rewarded for every visitor, subscriber, customer, and/or sale provided through his/her efforts.

Domain Parking - If you have a domain, you could be earning potential money from it. This is one of the easiest ways to make money online! If you have a domain simply join a site such as Sedo, Parked or Fabulous, park your domain, point your DNS settings at your registrar to the parking site, send visitors and voila that 's it. Of course you can't tell people to do searches on your site, or tell them to click links but you can earn good money from this! See, ads or "feeds" are placed on the domain with feeds from sites like Google and Yahoo. When people do searches on your site google pays the domain company and the domain company pays you a certain percentage of that money. Pretty easy. Check out Parked, they are THE best!

Freelance - This is pretty simple. If you can provide a service to someone, you can sell it online. Have it be designing websites, web hosting, domain registering, article writing, SEO, SEM, etc. If you know how to do something that will benefit someone else, you can easily make money off of this simply check out forums that have Marketplaces or Service sections, and try sites like e-lance or scriptlance. If you're good enough and people like your service you could make this a full-time business!

As long as you know I'm not saying ALL cash gifting sites are legit, or ALL cash generators are legit, chances are they aren't. Your best bet regarding giving money to someone is to check out some of the search engines for reviews on these sites, but also remember to have common sense. If you find a site and there are 1500 people online saying its legit, it works, it helped them succeed, and then you see a small handful of people that are totally talking bad about the company, really, who do you think is legit? Most likely the handful of people talking crap, were the people that either did something against terms and got deleted, or they didn't do what the program told them to do and in turn failed! Good luck!

Google AdSense: Keeping Your Account from Being Disabled and Useful Books about the Program

How can I make sure that my account will not be disabled? Google AdSense program policies make no allowances for deceptive practices. The most important thing a publisher can do to ensure the integrity of their site is to be aware of what is happening on your site.

Google has made it abundantly clear not to click on your own ads or ask others to do so. But what about practices a publisher may not purposely carry out?

Make sure that ads associated with Google never appear in an unrequested pop-up. Don't be talked into purchasing traffic for your site that may contain adware.

Respect the trademarks. Don't use any trademarks or logos without their consent.

Don't change the ad code. If you're a pro at html, don't assume you can add your own code. If you're new to html, simply copy and paste the offered code. Don't mess with it.

Provide a good environment for advertisers and a positive user experience. Don't try to be deceptive in any way. The rules may sound strict, but believe me, protecting the integrity of the AdSense program is in your best interest. After all, a positive, honest AdSense program means more money for all of us.

Useful books about the program for users of all stages

Do you need to buy a book to use Google AdSense? Not necessarily. Google 's support page has a wealth of information. But you might consider it if you want to read a personal account of an AdSense wizard such as Eric Giguere or say, if you want to learn more about HTML. Who let the blogs out: A hyper connected peek at the world of weblogs by Biz Stone has a lot of information on blogging as well as information about the program. The following is just a few books you can find at Amazon on the subject:

Make easy money with Google: Using the AdSense advertising program by Eric Giguere

The Google AdSense handbook by Angus McLeod

Google Advertising tools: Cashing in with AdSense, Adwords, and the Google APIs by Harold Davis

Top-Paying Google AdSense and Adwords keywords for pharmaceuticals (In Digital Format) [Download: Adobe Reader] By W. Frederick Zimmerman

The complete idiot 's guide to growing your business with Google by Dave Taylor

Google AdSense: How to write great blogs and watch your AdSense dollars add up

The best thing about blogging is that there are no rules. You can write about anything you want. A self-publisher 's dream! There are some things you can do though to maximize your profits. Narrow your subject. Don't just write about shopping. Write about shopping for antique dresser drawer pulls. Write every day. Have a blog at more than one site. If you develop a readership, you're more likely to increase your profits.

Write about something you know or want to know or at the very least care about. If you try to write a great blog based on a 'hot keyword' yet it 's something you could care less about, you'll likely not stay with it long.

Experiment and see what works for you. You can write based on your own opinion or something factual. You can review a product or service or a movie. Read other people 's blogs and notice how many reads they're getting. Above all, have fun. After all, it 's free and if you're persistent you'll see your dollars adding up.

Let 's All Climb Aboard the Google Train

Hi I am a semi retired administrator. I am far from a guru. About the only thing that gives me right to write this article is that in two years I haven't lost any money. I'm not rich either. I thought I would pass on some "getting started" points for working with the behemoth Google to start your online profit center.

From the start I had a love for computers. I was the first one on my block with a Commodore 64. For those of you under 30, the C64 was one of the first home computers that was affordable. It came with a tape player as a data storage unit. We have come a long way since then.

I started my online marketing as a hobby after I learned that I could design a webpage, or so I told people. Hey I got a few jobs out of it. As things progressed I wasn't doing too well, although I did get lots of spam. I eventually lost enough money that I quit for a while. I happened on to a Clickbank report one day; you know, one of the free ones. It was pretty cheesy but it got my interest with a section on Adwords and how to advertise with them.

The thing I liked about advertising with Google, was that I could start off for very little and I could easily stop it if I couldn't make it work. I would know really fast if it was possible. I got lucky and my first ad with the correct keywords produced a sale. This sale lit a fire under my butt. From there I purchased a couple of ebooks on Clickbank. I gobbled up the new information and soon put it to work.

Adsense and Adwords are both programs under the control of Mother Google. Adwords and Adsense are like cousins, not the same family but still related. The way I distinguish between the two is Adwords costs you money and Adsense makes you money.

If you search for something on Google, there are two or three distinct areas in the resulting search page. There are the top two or three highlighted ads, the left side of the window and the right side of the window. The ads highlighted at the top of the page and the section on the right hand side of the page are Adwords Ads. Each one of them has four lines, a headline with 25 or less characters, two lines of explanation or details with 35 or less characters and the destination URL with 35 character or less. These 130 characters are all you get to create an ad.

Adsense is visible on a lot of website pages now. The ads are usually in a text format with one two or three ads in a box captioned by "Ads by Google". These ads have the same format as Adwords because they are from Adwords. One of the wonderful things about Google Adsense is that they will do all the work if you want them to. Just click that Content network and your ads will show on pages that are content-relevant.

To know how Adsense works, it is beneficial to know the revenue flow. Initially, someone writes an ad to sell something with Google Adwords. If that person has clicked the Content network, Google will take his ad and place it on relevant pages. The owners of these relevant pages get a portion of any revenue as a result of a person clicking an ad and then purchasing something.

To make money with Adsense, you need a webpage with content. There is a world of content out there. It can be pretty much anything. But keep in mind, Google will frown on anything illegal or immoral. You can write your own content or purchase it from writers such as those on Rent-A-Coder. There are many more services that will write articles for you.

Probably the easiest way to display your content is by using Blogs. The Blogs will have multiple formats but they are all pretty easy to figure out.

The program Adwords, is based on the ads that go on Adsense websites. In essence, the Adwords author uses either keywords or specific URL locations that may be relevant to the ad. The position of the ads is dependent on what you bid for a specific keyword or URL. The process of setting up an ad involves a number of steps, none of them that overwhelming. First you write the ad with the format mentioned above then you decide whether you want to promote with keywords or specific URLs. If you go with keywords then you should have a list of keywords that people may be searching for when thinking about your product. Google has tools that will help you with keywords. It also has tools for the other method of promotion, URLs. It will suggest specific URLs that are relevant to your ad. You can also put in other sites if they have other Adsense ads on it.

With Adwords you have to do some homework. First off you have to have something to sell. It can either be your own product or someone else 's . I recommend if you want to be an affiliate (sell someone else 's product) that you use either Clickbank or Commission Junction. Clickbank deals only in digital products e.g. Ebooks or reports that can be downloaded over the internet. Commission Junction deals with all forms of sales, hard goods and digital products.

After you compose the ad, research keywords or URLs relevant to your subject matter. Use Google to find both for you. With the keyword tool, you enter the destination URL and Google figures out the keywords for you. With the URL tool, there are a number of ways to get URL suggestions. You can enter a specific destination, a specific subject, or some relevant URLs and Google will come up with suggestions for Ad placements. Keep the ad and the associatied keywords and/or URLs very specific and tightly woven. Google rewards directness.

This is a very rudimentary explanation of the process of making money using Google. It 's always nice to be on the side of the biggest company. Google 's many tools, methods or choices make it an excellent place to start your online profit center. Good luck and may all your ads be winners.

7 Adsense Optimization Tips For Larger Paychecks

Many bloggers and Webmasters have turned to Adsense in order to monetize their sites. However, as many of you are learning, making a killing with Adsense involves more than just throwing some ads up on your pages.

If you've been using Google 's AdSense on your Website or Blog, you're probably wanting to generate even more traffic for your website, which in turn would translate to more AdSense clicks and a higher income. I mean, who wouldn't want that, right?

How do you do this? You'll never make much money with Adsense until you have a lot of traffic. I'll let you in on an Adsense secret right now. Social traffic and tech traffic doesn't convert well with Adsense. They are Adsense wise and rarely click on any ad, especially an Adsense ad.

Who clicks on them? Organic search traffic. Yeah, the horny teenagers and Senior Citzens. Those are your best clickers.

So here are a 7 tips for optimizing your Adsense websites.

First, you need to take care of is the actual source code and layout of your page. This has to be kept as simple as possible. The problem comes when AdSense and the search engines themselves begin to have troubles in extracting the most relevant keywords on your site because of a too complex layout. Simple templates are better!

Second, try to have each one of your pages target only one specific keyword. This way it is a lot easier for them to be indexed properly and for the AdSense ads to be consistent with the content of the site itself.

Third, try not to include too many hyperlinks in your page as well. This also means you should try not to use too many AdSense ads on your page either. I only use 1 or 2 Adsense ads per page. Using more will bring down the price per click your receive.

Fourth. If there are certain keywords you wish to target, make sure the word you wish to target is present in the title, in the first paragraphs as well as in the name of the file. While you're at it you might want to ensure the word springs up in the page 's last paragraph. Not only is this good for Adsense optimization, but it 's good for overal website seo as well.

Fifth, it 's very important for your content to have original and compelling content. How do you do this? Well the easiest way to do it is to find something you're really passionate about. That way, providing you give it a lot of effort you're bound to have a great page quite fast.

Sixth, If the content you use in your site is in the public domain make sure that you at least give it an original title, and add an opening and a closing paragraph of your own.

This takes a little while, but if, after waiting, you still can't find your page near the top, you should try rewriting your title and your first and last paragraphs. It doesn't take much, often just changing a few words will give you the right results.

Seventh. Use good keyword tools that will help you in finding high paying keywords to include on your page that will drive visitors to your site more and more. I use Google Adword 's Keyword Tool. It will tell you how often the keyword is searched for. Also, there is a drop down menu that will tell you how much per click the advertisers are paying for a particular keyword or keyword phrase. I like to see keywords with at least a $4 or higher bid price. That way, I'll usually end up with about a dollar. It 's been said that you'll sometimes get around 25 percent of the bid price.

So those are about the basic techniques in search engine optimization. You can find a lot of computer tools to aid you in doing this, and of course, Google is a great place to search for this.

In the end, you'll find that Adsense optimization is a complex topic, and entire books have been written on the topic as well. You might find that you have a lot of optimization you need to do in order to get more and more visitors to your site and clicking those precious AdSense banners.

You need to have optimized niche website templates for best results. You may find the best adsense templates and blog templates that are Adsense optimized are the simple ones with few outgoing links. Leave the templates with all the fancy bells and whistles for the beginners. They don't covert well and they end up costing you Adsense clicks.

Maximise Your Google AdSense Profits with These Simple Steps

I have pretty much simplified the entire process here, you will be armed with enough information and resources to go out there and make a serious income with Google AdSense. Today it 's probably the easiest and the most lucrative methodology of generating a good second income avenue, which also happens to be a fairly passive mode of income, all of this utilising the power of Google AdSense program.

Follow the simple six step program I've drawn up and you should be well on your way to generating a healthy AdSense second income within a 90 day period. I'm pretty sure you may have seen claims made by internet marketers out there generating five figure incomes each month using Google 's AdSense. For many of you out there, I'm sure you're wondering why this isn't happening for you. After some time in the internet marketing world, you begin to realise the need for multiple streams of income.

Are You Read? Here are the steps.

Step 1 - Determine Your Target Market[s]

In order to get maximum profits using the AdSense program with say only twenty four web sites, it 's imperative you are aware of the markets which pay the most. To go a little more into depth on this subject, you must know which keywords within any of these specific markets pays out the most.

Step 2 - Get your website into all the major search engines

This is a fairly simple process, no trickery is involved. Just go out there and buy the appropriate links for a set period (it doesn't have to be forever). A PR7 to PR5 link should be sufficient, bearing in mind; the lower the PR value the longer you'll need to link up in order to get your sites indexed in the big search engines.

Step 3 - Registering of your chosen domain[s]

Once you have highlighted and chosen your markets, it 's now time for you to register the domains you have set aside for those specific markets.

Step 4 - Verify and track your site

Visit your site and make sure all links work and that the sites appear to your satisfaction. You should also check out the ads Google is displaying. Are they targeted to your primary high paid keyword? If not, renovate your site using your high paid keyword in a higher denseness throughout your site.

Make sure you track your AdSense format, position, and traffic with a trailing system specifically configured for AdSense. Once you know your stats, you can adjust for maximum click-through and higher revenues.

Step 5 - The preparation

The key to making money with Google AdSense is all in the numbers. Yes, there are some people out there generating big incomes with only a few sites, maybe less than 15, but these people are the exception. Your main target should be to develop at least twenty four articles within a 90 day period. That 's exactly two websites per week. In order to accomplish this task, I recommended you use one of the many viable page generation tools out there today.

Step 6 - Time to create your web site

Utilising maybe a page generation software package (there are currently many of them out there) and a profitable keyword list, it is about the correct time to begin development of your website. There are several vital points that you should keep in mind when you're developing a website specifically for Google 's AdSense.

1. Format - Try to stick to the larger ad blocks (say the 336x280 ones).
2. Border - Make sure border colour coordinates with background colour.
3. Background colour - Border - Make it the same colour as the border.
4. Link = "0000CC"
5. Color_url = "999999"
6. Color_text = "333333"
7. Position - Best positions are either the far left or center and just above the page bend (Top 25% of site).

The Google Adsense Revolution - How One Man Generated Well Over One Million Dollars With Adsense

I truly believe that adsense is the future of the internet. It can be so profitable if you understand and truly know how to utilize it. The biggest thing that you have to remember is that its a numbers game. But believe this or not, there are webmasters, online business owners, from small to big fortune 500 companies on the internet that Google is paying BIG money just to advertise for them. There are literally millions of clicks per second that web surfers are clicking on to find out more information about something. It may even be that they are trying to find something just to buy. Who knows. But one thing that is for sure, you have to have the right amount of traffic or you will not generate any type of income whatsoever. The online world is a lot different from your traditional "mom and pop" store. The biggest difference that comes to mind now right off the back is your overhead is very low. As a matter of fact, its almost next to nothing.

Why is the internet so profitable?

The best answer I can give to this question is because the internet is one of the fastest and best ways of reaching a global audience in a very short period of time. I mean we're talking ratios that exceeds well over millions upon millions of viewers simultaneously. Now even though there are thousands of websites out there floating around on the internet, this doesn't mean that you can not get your share of the profits and rewards that the internet can and will bring. I was reading about a statistic case study of how many ordinary individuals who were hitting six figure monthly online incomes very quickly from the cause of the google adsense revolution. Also, I do not know if you know this but, the google adsense revolution have not even touched the surface yet. I mean, do not get me wrong, there are internet business owners who advertise for Google and have it on there websites but the "majority" of webmasters still do not know about it.

Years back, it had came a point in time where it used to be that you had to have something to sell online to make any money but the internet has came a long way. From affiliate programs to google adsense, to selling e-books, etc. The Google adsense revolution is slowly immerging but I feel as though it will still take some time to fully take into its maximum effectiveness.

Reallisticly, adsense is becoming one of the most biggest and easiest ways to make money online. There are stats of people actually generating revenues of anywhere from six to seven figures a month using the adsense program and this is on the low side of things. To me, I don't think that there is a program online that generates the type of income that this program can generate and especially on a monthly basis. You see all you have to do is, sign up with them, input the code they give you into your blog or website and you will get paid everytime someone clicks on an ad.

How do the numbers add up so fast with Adsense?

I get ask all this question all the time. Well lets just imagine for example, lets say you had 1000 visitors a day times 20 cents a click. Thats $200 bucks a day made off of web surfers. Now, if you multiplied a measly $200 dollars a day times 30 days in a month, that would be $6,000 a month. We could even take this even farther and multiply $6,000 times 12 months and that would be $72,000. $72,000 dollars would not be too bad for an annual income. What do you think? But here is the biggest thing you have to remember though, with the adsense program, its all a numbers game. Its strictly based on ratio and probability.

As you know, there are millions of people who surf all kinds of information on the internet everyday so why not have a small portion of them surf your websites/blogs and get paid off there clicks? I couldn't believe it until I seen it with my own eyes of how this one guy made over a whopping one million dollars a month using the adsense program. Google is really paying out big money to online business owners all over the world.
